Phew! That was sooooooooooooo Busy

Well it has been ages since I last posted, this was a combination of time of year, Christmas, website being very very busy and re-opening my Ebay shop.

We also had a few family dramas and lots of trips to the hospital as Mark my husband was very unwell. Sadly after five years all clear, his cancer has returned and we have the added complication that he also has sarcoid. He will start his cancer treatment in January and then chemo.

So in the New Year myself and a group of friends will be launching a just giving site to raise funds for our local hospital's oncology unit. More details of this will follow. We are all very strong and positive, we have fought cancer before and we will do it again.

Now onto more positive things, well lots will be happening, Never Forget is expanding and a whole new range of products are going to be launched towards the end of January.

Both my Ebay shop and the website will have special offers with all monies rasied going direct to the appeal.

I hope you have all managed to have quality time with friends and loved ones and have a great Christmas time and would like to to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Healthy and Happy New Year.

Website going from strength to strength

Well although its not finished, I wonder will it ever be 'finished'? I am very pleased with the website and how it is going and looking. I am trying to add at least five things a day, which is s lot harder than I thought from a time perspective.

My old site was all bells and whistles and looking back now, perhaps a bit too complicated! This one is a lot easier to use, list and change and looking year on year I am very pleased with the results.

It is worth mentioning at this point that I would like to Thank Trudy from Firepages for all of her help and for putting up with the constant tweaking that she had to endeavour.

I only wish I had done it earlier!

I hope at this busy time of year, we all still make time to spend with our friends and family!

Kind Regards

New website - New Logo

Well I think I have finally got the look of my new logo all sorted out. So will be off tomorrow back to the designers to hopefully approve the final proof. This can then be transferred to the new web team and new web-site will be well under way.

Its all very exciting and I am looking forward to being able to showcase some of the new designs which I am very very excited about.

It is also a great time for me to raid my stash and use up things that perhaps I had forgotten about. I seem to also now have a great fascination with buttons! My button box is getting very overflowing!

Can;t wait for the next few weeks and hopefully get some inspiration from my forth coming holiday. I have also been looking back on the work of Charles Rennie MacKintosh who constantly inspires me. Wow his designs are classic and timeless and so very very fabulous!

Happy Sewing everyone!

Thank You Victoria!

A huge THANK YOU to Victoria, my daughter who created this blog for me. She is a very clever girl! Watch this space Tory! xox

Hot, Hot, Hot!

Almost finished this blogger thing now, then gonna hand it over to mum. She’s outside working, in the heat! Don’t know why I am moaning, would rather it be like this , than raining.
That’s where mums working, sitting on the deck and selling like mad on her laptop, looking over the garden… probably babbling on the sewing forum actually :)

That's her little room! .. Wait... She wont let me call it that... Umm..

Never Forget HQ!

That's where the magic happens :)

Mind you, Busters got the right idea about the heat. "I stay under mum's legs and stay aways from that hot yellow thing"
Anyways, am leaving this too Mum now, I made it, I get first post ;) Even if it a load of gobblely
Goop.
Have Fun
